This is a new series of oil paintings inspired by Black Lives Matter (BLM), an international social movement founded in the United States in 2013 and dedicated to the fight against racism and violence against African Americans, and police brutality in particular. In this series of paintings, I focused on body postures and simple gestures. I chose to use close-ups as a means to make them even more meaningful.  I painted this series out of respect and belief inequality.
