The pixel as a deconstruction of nature

2011

We live in a world of computers, video games, and digital images. In all of these, nature is depicted in digital form. We have lost the opportunity to perceive and digest nature in its pure, natural form.

In this project, the artist attempts to introduce nature into the living space. An image of a landscape, composed of maxi-size pixels, invades the walls of the room and brings to the viewer a recollection of nature.

The landscape is composed of pixels, slowly intrudes into all corners and takes over space. The project is constructed in the form of 3d. The observer can touch and feel the warmth of it as well as the factor of fabrics. Installation is accompanied by sounds, which are the voices of a lark.
